DesignMedix, a PSU Business Accelerator client company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Erik Iverson to the board of directors. Mr. Iverson is Executive Vice President, Business Development and External Affairs at the Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) headquartered in Seattle, Washington, a global health research institute developing diagnostics, vaccines, and treatments for neglected diseases of poverty.
Prior to joining IDRI, he was Associate General Counsel at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where he led the development and implementation of the Foundation’s Global Access policy through the review of grant proposals and assistance in structuring strategic initiatives. Previously, he was an attorney at the law firm of Perkins Coie LLP where he represented life science companies in the negotiation of financing and other transactions.
