Unclassified appointments on a 1.0 annualized FTE, 12-month contract receive 15 hours a month vacation allowance with a vacation hour accrual cap of 260 hours. Unclassified employees on 12-month appointments of .50 or more but less than 1.0 annualized FTE receive a vacation allowance proportional to their FTE. Accrued vacation hours are available for use after a 6-month waiting period for new hires. All leave should be scheduled with the approval of the faculty member's supervisor. Unclassified employees on a 9-month contract do not receive paid vacations, but are paid for holidays occurring during the term of their contracts.
