This enterprise resource planning (ERP) system manages the university’s business transactions, including student registration, records and financial aid; finance and budget; and human resources and payroll. Access to Banner data for faculty is most easily managed through Banner’s web interface (banweb.pdx.edu), where faculty can find course rosters, submit grades, review payroll information, and more. Much of the Banner data is streamed nightly to DataMASTER (datamaster.pdx.edu), the university’s data warehouse solution, where faculty will find detailed and summary reports. Overview training (http://www.pdx.edu/oit/training) on DataMASTER is regularly offered by OIT.
New employees should contact the OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES (302 University Services Building, 5-4926) to obtain a benefits packet containing information on medical, dental and retirement plans. You have 60 days from the date of employment to enroll in medical and dental plans. The plans become effective the first of the month following the date forms are submitted.
